In all my 54 years as a physician, I have never seen a more dedicated and positve outlook as a patient advocate than Violet! Every day she would give her love and energy to the patients that were undergoing frightening and lifechanging tests, first in her years in the cath lab( and I can personally attest to her sweet support) and then in the exercise lab where she made every patient comfortable and SAFE with her kind words and her ability to give hope to their fears.

Such sweetness, honesty and empathy are so rare in this world that we know that Violet was one of a kind and their will never be such a special human being.

She loved her work and people just as she loved her opera which, of course is always a celebration of life!

Dear Violet, we will miss you Dearly!!
